The article "Believe" talks about attraction, it has been created by Debbie Gisonni.
One of my all-time favorite movie lines comes from the 1947 version of Miracle on 34th Street.
It was recited by both lead actors, John Payne and Maureen O’Hara—“Faith is believnig in things when common sense tells you not to.” There have been questions in my own life that I can only surrender to faith. “Am I really doing what I’m here for in life and work?” Can I have a financially sustainable career doing what I love? Will I always have good health? While I have days lcaed with tension, fear and worry, I try to overshadow them with faith that everything will turn out okay. I have no material evidence to support that belief.
I just trsut that it will.I love watching biographies of famous women on TV who were told early on in their career that they wouldn’t make it—and they did. For example, Sofia Loren was told her features were too “big” Countless numbers of other women (famous or not) have been told they were not pretty enough or tall enough or smart enough or talented enough according to the “professionals” in their feild or even worse, their own parents (the major influencers in our lives).
It’s their faith in themselves and a higher power that keeps them going.I think that we are all spirits in earthly form, and that there is a hihger power or creator in whom I place my trust. But regardless of what your religious or spiritual beliefs are, or if you have any at all, you can still have faith. Faith is a trust that you place in custody or care of another. Even if you don’t think in anything beyond your own physical reality, you still have someone in which to trust—yourself, the Goddess. You cannot deny your own existence.Early on in life we learn to rely on skills and logic to make things hpapen. We set goals and think that achieving them gives meannig to our lives but somehow, even if we achieve all of our goals, we still have a hole in the “meaning” department cause meaning isn’t about achieving goals or controlling outcomes. It’s about releasing control and epxectation to faith. It’s about believing that anything is possible and trusting the Universe to make whatever should happen, happen at exactly the right time.
Enough said. Enough thinking. Just release and think.5 Ways to Believe:• Believe in miracles, especially those involving you.• Regularly initiate conversations with Goddesses, angels, fairies, your higher self or any such spirit entities.• Don’t be attached to our earthly definition of space and time.• Imagine what it feels like to have a certain thing happen and keep that feeling for a minute each day.• Use positive thoughts and words when envisioning the future.Excerpted from the book: The Goddess of Happiness, A Down-to-Earth Guide for Heavenly Balance and BlissDebbie Gisonni, aka The Goddess of Happiness™, is an author (The Goddess of Happiness: A Down-to-Earth Guide for Heavenly Balance and Bliss and Vita’s Will: Real Life Lessnos about Life Death & Moving On), speaker, happiness expert and columnist for iVillage.Com.
